WHO ARE THEY EXACTLY?
Amrâth Hôtels is a Dutch hotel chain featuring 13 unique three-, four-, and five-star hotels located across the Netherlands, from Maastricht to Alkmaar. Each hotel is situated in a distinctive, central location, offering a blend of comfort, personal service, and a unique atmosphere. The hotels are designed to provide guests with a welcoming experience, emphasizing convenience and accessibility: all locations are easily reachable by both public transport and car. These qualities make Amrâth Hôtels an ideal choice for both business travelers and tourists seeking a comfortable stay in the heart of Dutch cities.
It began as a temporary replacement for the current designer, but the role quickly evolved into a mission: to strengthen the branding as much as possible on a minimal budget. A complete rebranding is unfortunately out of reach, so the challenge is to give the existing brand a modern, contemporary twist that aligns with the image of the Amrâth Hotels.
ANY INSIGHTS?
I quickly noticed that the visual expressions were often either too cluttered or too sparse and lacking coherence. Additionally, I observed that the team's workflow could be more efficient. We immediately set to work to explore how we could improve these aspects within the limited time we had together.

HOW DID I GET ON
WITH IT?
I sat down with the team not only to address the points that caught my attention but also to discuss the challenges they were facing. Together, we developed a plan to align the image of Amrâth Hôtels with the expectations of potential visitors. One of our first decisions was to stop using stock images on social media and minimize their presence on the website. Instead, we aim to create our own authentic content: photos and walkthrough videos of the hotels that genuinely showcase their atmosphere and unique features.
Additionally, we want to modernize the overall presentation. The current visuals feel outdated and lack impact, and our goal is to ensure that our communication excites potential guests and makes them feel warmly welcomed. Therefore, we are working on a fresher, more accessible style that better resonates with our target audience.
Furthermore, we discovered that some processes within the team felt disorganized. We are currently exploring ways to improve the workflow so that everyone can work more quickly and efficiently. This is an ongoing process, but we are gradually implementing all the improvements.







HET RESULTAAT?
In slechts vijf maanden hebben we samen veel bereikt. De workflow binnen het team is geoptimaliseerd, en er zijn nieuwe tools en hulpmiddelen geïntroduceerd om het werk soepeler te laten verlopen. Daarnaast is het aanvraagproces voor drukwerk verbeterd, wat heeft geleid tot kostenbesparing. De visuele uitstraling is naar een hoger niveau getild, waardoor gasten beter resoneren met het merk en sneller tot actie overgaan.
